I'm Chelsie
A Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto.

When I started working in private practice, I saw a recurring theme: people weren’t just "stressed"—they were overwhelmed by anxiety and a dysregulated nervous system. Whether it was social anxiety, health anxiety, or OCD, it was clear that these struggles were interfering with people's daily living, quality of life and ability to live in the present moment.

The more I worked with others treating these concerns, the more I realized that "managing" isn't enough. With the right evidence-based tools, you can actually shift the dynamic so that anxiety no longer takes the wheel.

How We Work Together: I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help you navigate intrusive thoughts and chronic worry. My goal isn't just to reduce your symptoms; it’s to help you build a life that feels meaningful, confident, and entirely your own.

A Commitment to Growth: What I love most about this field is that the learning never stops. When I’m not in session, I am constantly expanding my lens—consulting with colleagues and pursuing training in areas like trauma and attachment theory. This allows me to see how different challenges intersect, ensuring that your treatment plan is as unique and multifaceted as you are.

Recharging: I truly believe in modeling the same balance I encourage for my clients. I know firsthand that to show up fully in our lives, we have to make space to recharge. For me, that looks like "resetting" on a nature trail, getting lost in a great book, or intentionally slowing down to spend quality time with my friends and family.
